Sometimes Rainy Days Are Okay

Hello!! We've had quite the appointment filled week which is not exactly that normal here in Hammerum.  We had a lesson on Tuesday with one of our progressing investigators, Søren.  We knew something was up the moment we walked in.  He wanted to get started without any chitchat, so we did.  It was a fine lesson, but at the end he said he needed to tell us something.  He wants to stop meeting with us.  He doesn't want to change.  For him, the most important thing is to have the church in his heart.  It doesn't matter what building he goes to each  Sunday  if he is worshiping the Lord.  However, he loves the Book of Mormon and wants to keep reading it! Hello hello!! This week was a fabulous one per the usual. On Monday I stopped this young woman on the gå gade.  I talked to hear and set up an appointment with her ALL BY MYSELF.  Søster Acosta didn't help me at all.  I found an investigator ALL ON MY OWN.  Søster Acosta was very proud of me.  I'm growing up so fast.  On Tuesday we had a lesson with one of our investigators!  He is in his mid-20's and believes VERY firmly in science so he asks LOADS of questions that I don't understand because I don't know the words he uses.  BUT it doesn't even matter because he agreed to be baptized!! After he gets an answer from Heavenly Father of course, but I know he will.  I think he really wants to know if there is something out there, so I have full faith that he will ''blive døbt.'' On Wednesday we had a lesson with another one of our investigators!  He just moved to Herning to study and is the sweetest human.  We had Søster Forslund ...

Our week was so great!! It started out on Tuesday by going west to the coastal city of Hvide Sande to visit a new member couple that moved into our branch.  On the way back we passed through a little city called Ringkøbing which is now my new favorite city in Denmark.  It's right on the coast.  It smells like the ocean, the houses are colorful and cute, and it's quaint and quiet.  I love it.  We stopped to take a few pictures by the water.  Later that day we went to stop by a potential investigator and while he was home, he told us he wasn't ready nor willing to hear our message anymore so that put our spirits down a bit but we were determined to not lose faith.  The next day we made enchiladas which really bolstered our attitude and kept pushing forward....
