I'M ALLLLLLLLLMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE

Many many many things came to pass this week.  On Saturday we had a FABULOUS branch devotional on religions freedom and how we should uphold and respect the rights of people from EVERY denomination.  We had some touching musical numbers that really sparked motivation and determination in all of us.  Afterward, they let us watch most of the fireworks from inside the new buildings which was *almost* like being there.  Sort of.  But they were still so beautiful!

Yesterday was really the highlight of my week.  In the morning we participated in Skype TRC's with a lady living in Denmark with her husband.  She was a missionary there and grew up in Provo as a thunderbird so that was super fun.  Also her name in Vashti which is a name already on my potential baby names list so that gives me reassurance that I can definitely use it and it won't be that weird.  ANYWAY THAT WASN'T EVEN THE BEST PART OF THE DAY.  My district *FINALLY* got to be hosts for the new missionaries and it was honestly so fun.  It absolutely ripped my heart in half to see crying families saying goodbye to their missionaries, but I really tried to cheer up the newbies as much as I could, even just saying, "WELCOME TO THE MTC!!" when I couldn't do anything else.  I was waiting in line with my dear Hannah Sybrowsky and our eyes were peeled for our buddy and ally Beth Christensen, who was due to arrive any minute.  We sat in the sun for an hour, waiting and watching and hoping that Beth would come our way.  We had almost given up hope, our backs turned from the road and sweat blinding our eyes when we heard a cheer and a wonderfully painted white van pulled up right in front of us.  Another sister host was en route to aid our dear dear Beth but we pushed her a little irreverently out of the way and latched onto Sister Christensen with the biggest hug I could muster.  Together, Sister Sybrowsky and I took Beth all around campus and told her everything that she would need to know, because we are old and wise and have lived here our entire lives.  It was such a blessing to see her sweet face, eager to get started sharing the gospel.
