Halløj from Hillerød
Danish Word of the day: hjemmedreng. it literally means ''home boy''
Danish fun fact: the sun sets a couple minutes earlier everynight until Winter solstice, and then it starts setting a little later until summer solstice.
How are you all? I'm doing just dandy here in Denmark!! Things are happening!!
SO. This week absolutely FLEW
Søster Dietch and I had the car all to ourselves this week, so we took it out on Tuesday with high hopes in mind. We set out ready to preach and preach we did. We set a record high of FIVE investigators!! All in one day!! It was incredible!!
We also went up to Aalborg for splits!! I still love Aalborg.
Sister Dietch and I bought matching companionship hats. They're adorable.
Also I got to play my flute in sacrament meeting! It was swell.
On Saturday, I found out that I'm going to have to grow up and leave my baby area. I moved today (5 hour train ride) and am now in Hillerød, ALL the way across the country! I left good ol Jylland to come over to the Sjælland crowd. Sister Dietch is also leaving and actually going up to Aalborg to be Sister Training Leader. I'm going to miss her so much! We are literally as far away from each other as physically possible now. I'm way depressed about it, but my new companion is Sister Day from my MTC Group! I love her lots and we are going to have a BLAST!!
I don't have tons of time to write today, but those were the highlights of my week!! It was really hard to say goodbye to my Hammerum Home, but I know that, to quote a guy I met on the train today, ''saying goodbye to something old is saying hello to something new.'' I have loved my time there, and I know that I'm going to love my time here in Hillerød as well!!
Jeg elsker jer og håber at I får en god uge!
Søster Esplin
