HAPPY BIRTHDAY 'MERICA

July 9, 2018

Danish Word of the Week: Philippinerne. The Philippines!

Danish Fun Fact: There are a lot of Filipino people that live here to be nannies.  I thought that was pretty cool.

We had an awesome week.  On Monday we didn't have time to eat dinner so we prayed for some way to obtain food.  A miracle happened and a member fed us pizza.  God delivers.

That same day we met with two of our wonderful Iranian friends, Koosha and his wife Niloufar.  We taught them about the Restoration and they are excited to read the Book of Mormon and learn more.  Cool cool people.

The 4th of July was great! We had the opportunity to switch our pdays and spend half the day on the beach with other missionaries.  We had a lovely time and I only got a little sunburned.  We then went to a member's house to continue the American Festivities.  I do love my country.

We also got a new mission president! Welcome to the Danish Mission President and Sister Olsen! They are absolutely incredible people.  I already love them with my whole heart.  They're Danish and are really ready to get going.  I'm right along with them.

An awesome miracle of the week happened on Friday.  We had an appointment cancel and so suddenly had some time on our hands.  So out knocking we went.  We knocked into this wonderful Persian family.  We started talking about how we come out to show people how they can be together forever and they were pumped about that.  We happened to have a Persian Book of Mormon on us and they were so grateful to have that.  We're going back there today :)

Kim came to church on Sunday! And he stayed for all 3 hours.  He had a lovely time.

That's all for this week! I love the work and I love the gospel and am so grateful for missionaries everywhere that sacrifice for Christ.

Tak og ha' en god uge!
