The Longest, Shortest, Most Miracle Filled 7 Days

Danish Word of the Week: Mormons Bog! The Book of Mormon ahah
So this week was grand. I have a new companion named Søster Calame and I love her. She is a convert of 2 1/2 years, from Switzerland, and she is just incredible. We are having an absolute blast together.
Hold on tight because this was the most miracle filled week I have every experienced.
So first of all, Kim. Kim has agreed to another baptismal date! A week or so ago, we asked Kim to pray to God about a new baptismal date for him. He said he prayed, and the answer he got back was 24, which he interpretted as 2024 - the year. That made us more than a little concerned. So this week, we said a pray together and tried to all feel an answer. Kim looks back up at us after the prayer and says, ''I still feel good about 24.'' I ask him, ''Do you think God maybe meant the 24th of August?'' He thinks about it for a second and then says, ''Yeah! I think he could!'' So come the 24th of August, Kim is going to be baptized! We are going to work very hard to help him stop smoking and to spiritually prepare him for this grand adventure. There was a baptismal in a different ward on saturday that we took him to, and he loved it! He is now very excited for his own baptism.
So Koosha and Niloufar are this adorable couple from Iran that we have been meeting with. They are absolutely wonderful. They read the Book of Mormon together, they pray, and they came to church 2 weeks ago (they couldn't make it this week). They really liked church! We talked about Jesus Christ through His gospel. They were very open, asked great questions, and said that they'd be willing to come back to church again! They are doing wonderfully.
So, funny story, Søster Calame and I walked into an appointment planning on teaching the Plan of Salvation and walked out having committed ourselves to go off sugar for 2 weeks. How did this occur? I'm not entirely sure. We met with two of our friends and did in fact teach them the Plan of Salvation. They were good students and had done their research, so they had their own questions about the word of widsom in particular. In the end, we said they if they stopped drinking and smoking for 2 weeks, we wouldn't eat sugar for 2 weeks. bye bye beautiful danish pastries.
Another great miracle of the week is in the form of an awesome Korean named Koo. Søster Calame and I met him up at DTU campus on tuesday. He is not believing but remembered liking church as a child becasue of the beautiful music. We met with him on Saturday and had a stellar appointment. We talked about God and His nature, prayer, and God's plan for us. Koo sat and attentively listened the entire time, asked great questions, and even agreed to say the closing prayer! Not only that, but he came to church the next day. Our ward absolutely ate him up! They talked to him, invited him over for dinners, and because really great friends with him. I had the play the piano for sacrament meeting and kind of butchered the last song, but Koo came up to me and said that he really liked whatever song I just played (it was Abide with Me Tis Eventide for all those wondering), so he is such a sweetheart. He prayed on his own without us even asking him too, and sent us a text last night thanking us for introducing him to God. What a miracle.
I've learned a lot in the past few weeks about the importance of Charity. Fostering this highly important christ like attribute WILL bring about miracles. Let me be your witness to that.
Tak for alt hvad I gør for mig og for arbejdet. Ha' en god uge!
MKH, Søster Esplin
