The Whipped Cream Wars

Danish Word of the Week: Flødeskum.  Whipped Cream

Danish Fun Fact: Everything is cute and adorable here.

We had a marvelous week.  Only a few bike problems got in the way of the power companionship of Søster Esplin and Søster Calame.  We brought our mission president's wife to an appointment.  She and our friend really got along and the Spirit was strong.  We had to walk all the way to that appointment thanks to our wonderful, yet incapable bikes, but Søster Olsen gave us a ride home, which was a big tender mercy.

One of the fun happenings of the week was an appointment with a part member family.  We played a game called ''pie face,'' which is where one puts a large and daunting amount of whipped cream on a plastic hand, and the two players compete to see who can push a button faster.  The loser gets a slap of whipped cream in the face. I don't think that i've ever laughed more in my life.  Our dear friend and her 4 children are my favorite people.  The night escalated when Søster Calame just threw some whipped cream at one of the kids, resulting in a whipping cream war between the 6 of us.  You ever need some friends? Throw whipped cream in their face.

Things are going well with Koo.  He is currently in France for the next three weeks because of a school trip, but he has contact with the missionaries and has plans to go to church there.

Lots of knocking and contacting happened this week.  We met some cool people with some cool stories.  Not a whole lot of people really interested in learning more, but I thoroughly enjoyed just being out among the great danes.

Søster Calame and I received the sad news that I will be leaving my beloved Lyngby to move all the way across the country (yet again) to Viborg for my last transfer.  It was very tender to say goodbye to a ward I've grown so close to.  I bore my testimony in church yesterday and I looked tenderly down on the faces of people I love so dear.  My heart really is here in Denmark and will forever remain here.  These are good people with the strongest of testimonies.  They are really converted, in and out.  My life has been utterly changed by the people that I have met here.

Sorry this is short, men tak for alt og ha' en god uge!
